Artist Bio

Lucrèce Andreae studied animation in at Les Gobelins in Paris, France. With other students, she directed the movie Trois petits points.  She continued her studies at La Poudrière. In her movies, Lucrèce describes madcap characters, absurd situations and everyday tragedies with a lot of softness.

GRANDPA WALRUS nominated for the Grand Jury Prize at the Cannes Film Festival, was the winner of France’s César Award for Best Animated Short Film, and was the winner of the Audience Award at the 2017 Annecy International Animation Festival.
