Artist Bio

Don Hertzfeldt is an Academy Award nominee whose animated short films include Billy's Balloon, Everything Will Be OK, The Meaning of Life, and Rejected. His work has received over 200 awards and most recently appeared on The Simpsons. His first feature film, It's Such a Beautiful Day, was named by several critics as one of the Top 10 Films of 2012. After 20 years of animating traditionally, Hertzfeldt's World of Tomorrow is his first all-digital production.

WORLD OF TOMORROW as named the Short Film Grand Jury Prize winner at the 2015 Sundance Film Festival. It was also named Best Animated Short at the 2015 SXSW Film Festival, and has received over 25 international awards including the Audience Award and Special Jury Distinction at Annecy International.  The film is currently nominated for an Academy Award for Best Animated Short FIlm.
