24fps has earned a reputation for presenting some of the most comprehensive and challenging exhibitions anywhere in the world. This year, the narrative portion of our Official Selections includes work from 10 countries, with films that have appeared at the Cannes, Sundance, SXSW, Toronto, Berlin, AFI, Clermont-Ferrand, Stiges and Venice Film Festivals, to name a few. They have also been nominated for Academy Awards.

Our animation section in 2024 brings together films from 6 different countries. The programming includes projects from France, the USA, Netherlands, Spain, Israel and Canada. One of these films was Academy -Award nominated and two are Sundance nominees. We are pleased to once again highlight the work of France’s SUPINFOCOM RUBIKA and ESMA film school programs.

The documentary selections for this year are from 2 different countries and show us personal stories from the USA and Canada This would include selections that have appeared at the Sundance and as a part of the Canadian Screen Awards. For the first time, an experimantal (fusion) film has been included in this cartegory.
