BASRI and SALMA in a never-ending COMEDY had its world premiere at the 76th Cannes Film Festival, where it was in competition for the Palm d’Or. It was also an Official Selection at Sundance in 2024 and received a Special Mention at the 2023 Berlin Film Festival.
Khozy Rizal is a filmmaker based in Makassar, Indonesia who started making films in 2021 with Makassar is a City for Football, which was an Official Selection at Sundance, BFI Flare and many others.
