A black comedy Stop-motion short that explores the power balance between bureaucracy, death and feline devotion of the elderly.
DEADLINE premiered at the Chelsea Film Festival and was the winner of Best Animated Short Film at the Jerusalem International Film Festival. It had its UK premiere at the Manchester Animation Festival and its US premiere at the Arizona International Film Festival. The film has appeared at more than 22 festivals worldwide.
Idan Gilboa graduated from the Department of Visual Communication in Bezalel. He studied stop motion animation and illustration as part of a student exchange at SVA New York. An animator at heart, he is an art director/creative manager at major advertising agencies for a living. He has a number of music videos that have won awards and recognition.
