24fps has earned a reputation for presenting some of the most comprehensive and challenging exhibitions anywhere in the world. This year, the narrative portion of our Official Selections includes work from 10 countries, with films that have appeared at the Cannes, Sundance, SXSW, Toronto, Berlin, AFI, Clermont-Ferrand, Stiges and Venice Film Festivals, to name a few. They have also been nominated for Student Academy Awards. The programming also features 4 US Premieres.

Our animation section in 2023 brings together films from 5 different countries. The programming includes projects from France, the USA, China and the Former Republic of Iran. One of these films was Academy -Award nominated and two are Sundance nominees. We are pleased to once again highlight the work of France’s RUBIKA and ESMA film school programs.

The documentary selections for this year are from 4 different countries and show us personal stories from the USA, Ukraine, Canada and China. This would include selections that have appeared at the Cannes, Sundance, and Toronto FIlm Festivals. Two of the documentaries are from the New Yorker Magazine’s acclaimed doc series.
